Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day, we acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served, and are still serving, their country and acknowledge our responsibility to work for the peace they fought, and are still fighting, to achieve.
To mark Remembrance Day, we held a wreath laying ceremony here at school before observing the 2 minutes silence. Later on, Primary, alongside Headteacher Mr Hicks, took a trip to the local cenotaph to lay their decorated poppy pebbles and hold their own minutes silence.
Our pupils made us so proud with their respectful and mindful involvement in the ceremony.
