At West Kirby School and College our goal is to raise aspirations, challenge stereotypes, inspire our pupils and encourage them to learn about and consider a wide range of careers.

Preparation for employment, apprenticeships, traineeships, further and higher education is an integral part of everything we do. We prepare our pupils for their next step in their pathway to adulthood, enabling them to make a significant contribution to the community and achieve their goals.  We ensure that each individual pupil  is given personal bespoke advice and support so that they can make the right progression choices for them.  The provision of high quality, impartial and relevant careers information, advice and guidance has never been more important than it is today. We aim to ensure that all students are equipped with the skills, knowledge and support necessary to investigate, research and enter their chosen professions.
